As most people know, Eleanor from SO2 is a bedridden child with an incurable sickness who is central to a number of PAs featuring different main characters. If you have Ashton as Rena or Bowman as Claude, you can cure the incurable disease :p by finding the Metox plant. Both Ashton and Bowman's parts in her story were incorporated into the manga/anime, so the knowledge of their roles is fairly commonplace. But in the game, Opera also participates in Eleanor's story (if you're Rena). You need Opera's weapon, the Seventh Ray, in order to get the best possible result. ========== (!) (...) Eleanor: Oh, I thought I'd lost my handkerchief. - Thank you, big sister. I am Eleanor. Opera: Uh ... My name is Opera. - Now don't lose it again. Eleanor: OK. Opera: Bye now. *starts to leave* Eleanor: Say, big sister Opera. You're a traveler, right? Opera: *turns around* That's right. Eleanor: Is traveling fun? Opera: Let's see, there are a lot of fun parts, but there are also a lot of bad parts. I didn't start traveling because I wanted to ... Eleanor: Oh. Opera: *walks back to her side* Why do you ask that? Eleanor: I have been frail like this ever since I was born. I have only seen what I can see from the windows of my house. If I can't see things for myself, I want to at least hear about them. Opera: (...) Is that right? Eleanor: So please, can you tell me stories about the outside? Opera: OK. If you don't mind just things that I know, I'll tell you as much as you want. Eleanor: Really! Thank you, big sister. - Say, big sister, have you ever seen a rainbow? Opera: Sure I have. Eleanor: Really? They're really pretty, right? I'm so jealous, I'd like to see one even once. [Rena walks in and goes to Opera] Opera: Oh, Rena. What good timing. I was just about to go looking for you, Rena. Rena: *walks over* Sorry about that. I feel bad, but I heard the whole story. Opera: Hey, Rena. Can you cure Eleanor's disease with your powers? Having to stay in bed your whole life is so sad. Rena: You're right. I'll try it. *Opera moves aside* Eleanor: *looks up* Yes, what is it? Opera: It's OK. Don't worry ... Rena: *casts her healing spell* (...) It's no good ... I can't cure her with my powers. Opera: That's too bad. Rena: *turns to Opera* Sorry. Opera: Don't worry about it, it's not your fault. *goes back to Eleanor's side* - Sorry. We couldn't cure your disease with our powers. Eleanor: Oh, don't fret about it. I've already given up hope. I can't even count the number of doctors I've seen so far. - But rather than that, I was really happy to be able to talk with you and your friends. [if you don't have the Seventh Ray] [talk to Opera again] Opera: I'd like to be able to show this girl a rainbow. [if you have the Seventh Ray] Opera: (!) That's it, I have a good idea. Rena: (?) What's with you? Opera? Opera: Hee, hee, hee ... Just look out your window. *leaves* Eleanor: (?) I wonder what's with her? Rena: I don't know, she just said that she had a good idea. Opera: *from outside* Look, Eleanor. I'm going to show you a rainbow now. Eleanor: Huh? *screen changes to show Opera standing outside the front of the house* Opera: Watch VERY carefully. - Go, go, Seventh Ray! *screen changes to show Zand's mansion on the hill. Slowly a rainbow fades into view, arcing over the roof of the mansion* Eleanor: Wow, it's so pretty! Is this a rainbow? Opera: How about this? *goes back into the house* Eleanor: It's sparkling and shining and really pretty. It looks just like Mommy said. Thank you, big sister. Opera: I'm glad it seemed to go well. [if you talk to Opera again] Opera: I'm so glad that it went well. [if you talk to Eleanor] Eleanor: Somehow I feel much better.
